Kate Stockley has been riding and
competing since a small child with the help of her family she has been involved
in many different aspects of the horse industry. Kate has been teaching riding
lessons since she was 16 years old. Kate attended Midway
College in the heart of the Horse Country of Kentucky. While
there, she worked at Rood and Riddle, one of the largest private
veterinarian clinics east of the Mississippi. Kate was the captain of her high
school equestrian team for 2 year; she rode and competed in multiple different
disciplines. While in college Kate was a member of Midway's Hunt seat, Western,
Open Show, and Event Team.
Kate is members of AQHA, APHA,
APtHA,
MDA,
USEA,
TEAM, USEF,
MIHA,
IHSA
as well as a certified Medical First Responder. She is also the head coach
of the Brandon High School and Junior High Equestrian Teams, as well as the 4H
Leader of Twillingate 4H Club that she started 5 years ago with only 3 members
her club now has over 20 members. She is always encouraging her students to
"try something new" so they can make a better decision as to what
they enjoy doing most with their horse, whether it is a 3-Day Event or getting
involved in a Rodeo Circuit she is always there to help her students
along the way. She understands each riders' comfort levels and works with them
individually to accomplish their goals.
